Georgia Malone & Co. was hired by Baruch Singer to quietly sell 104 Buildings totaling 2,900 apartments located on the UWS and Harlem. Georgia Malone & Co. successfully handled the off-market deal and structured a joint venture of two New York-based Opportunity Funds for $173,000 per unit; in this sophisticated transaction, the seller, Baruch Singer also participated in the buying entity. The transaction currently represents the largest closed New York residential deal of the year. Lehman Brothers handled the financing for the transaction.
